Texas Woman's University announced its intent on May 17 to create the first four-year university aviation program in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The aviation program, which is set to begin enrolling students in the fall 2024 semester, is funded by a $15 million gift from the Houston J. and Florence A. Doswell Foundation.
